INSIGHT SAN DIEGO Insight San Diego is a peer-led sangha in the Vipassana tradition, akin to Spirit Rock in Marin County, CA and Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. We provide opportunities for meditation, learning the dharma, and interaction with peers for new and experienced students from diverse backgrounds in an open and safe environment. Our offerings include a weekly sitting group; bi-weekly and monthly affinity groups in subjects such as Buddhist Psychology, Social and Climate Justice, and Greeting the Heavenly Messengers; beginning meditation classes in English and Spanish; and Cultivation of Compassion Training courses. Throughout the year, we invite visiting teachers to give evening dharma talks and both non-residential and residential weekend retreats.
